A lovely vintage military pitch pine writing box. The box is dovetailed, with sloping sides and lid. It has chunky metal hinges and one open compartment inside. Stamped on the base is G R V1 Crown Abbess 1942.
In fairly good vintage condition, some marks to the wood as expected with age and use. Please see images.
